I am currently offering services via telehealth for Oregon and Washington residents. For those that need it, I am also offering in-person sessions. For information on precautions and safety measures being taken for in-person sessions, please click here.
We all experience feelings of anxiety, a normal human emotion, from time to time. Experiencing anxiety regularly however can be draining, frustrating and scary. Anxiety may include spiraling or sticky thoughts that are hard to stop; worries that pop up out of nowhere or are always lurking in the background; all accompanied by a flood of physical sensations that are hard or impossible to control. One of my goals in therapy is to create an inviting and safe space where you can talk through these thoughts and experiences, where we can work together to understand the purpose of these feelings and develop strategies to work with them instead of fighting against them.
I use a collaborative approach, working side by side with you to help you reach your therapeutic goals. In my work I draw from the following evidenced-based modalities: mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), somatic or body-centered therapy, IFS, and little bit of brain science.
I work with adults who are struggling with:
Beginning therapy, or switching therapists, is a big step. It is vital to a successful therapeutic relationship that you and your therapist click. With this in mind I offer a free 20 minute virtual consultation to give you a sense of my style as a counselor. The consultation is relaxed and provides an opportunity for us to see if we are a good fit.
My standard fee for individual therapy is $150 for a 50 min session.
I do not accept insurance but I am happy to provide a super bill at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to see what options you have. I'm happy to provide additional information on my practice, should they need it.
