Adulting can be hard! So many new experiences to navigate... Living on your own, going to college, finding a satisfying career, paying bills, balancing relationships, discovering who you truly are outside of your family - whether you are experiencing all of these or 'just' one or two, it can be a lot to manage! And it can create a lot of stress, anxiety, worry and overwhelm.
Everyone experiences feelings of anxiety, a normal human emotion, from time to time. Experiencing anxiety regularly however can be draining, frustrating and scary. Anxiety can show up as:
One of my goals in therapy is to create an inviting and safe space where we can talk through these experiences, appreciate the good stress, find kindness for the parts of you that are struggling, and utilize strategies you can use to work collaboratively with these emotions.
- spiraling or sticky thoughts
- difficulty relaxing or often feeling irritable
- trouble falling asleep
- worries or fears that are hard to calm
- discomfort in your body like you've had too much coffee (when you haven't) or not enough sleep (when you have)
- frequent headaches or stomachaches

My approach:
I use a collaborative approach, working side by side with you to help you reach your therapeutic goals. In my work I draw from the following evidenced-based modalities: mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), somatic or body-centered therapy, IFS, and little bit of brain science. Fees
20 min initial consultation: Free 50 min therapy session: $175 I do not accept insurance but I am happy to provide a super bill at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to see what options you have. I'm happy to provide additional information on my practice, should they need it. Cancellation Policy If you ever need to cancel a session, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions cancelled with less than 24-hour notice may be charged up to the full session rate, depending on the nature of the circumstances.
